Charleston has some amazing treasures for us to find. If you like combing the beach or marsh islands for shark teeth, let us take you out on the skiff fossil hunting. We have spots where you can find some of the best megalodon, great white, extinct mako teeth and much more. Often times we stumble across the bones and teeth of other animals like dolphin, whales, turtles, giant sloths, and mammoths. Our trips are usually 2.5-3hrs long.
Exact meeting location will be discussed after booking.

Austin Young was born in New Mexico, raised in Arizona, and spent some time in Colorado, Georgia, and South Carolina. While in the Southwest, Austin spent a lot of his free time hunting, fishing, and camping. The positive impression that the outdoors made on him growing up would continue to throughout his life, and the lessons he learned would come in handy during his time spent in the U.S. Army.
While enlisted, Austin was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. There he was a medic for an infantry platoon that spent a lot of the time training in the swampy woods of Savannah. During his 4 years stationed there, Austin’s Unit would deploy to Afghanistan. Upon returning to the states and during his last year in the military, he married his fiancé Krista Young.
Austin, Krista and their two kids lived in Colorado after leaving the military. It is there where Austin found fly fishing. The passion was forged along the steep canyon walls that line the Cache La Poudre River in Fort Collins, CO. He knew he had to find a way to make a living doing what he loved.
Now living in the beautiful Lowcountry of South Carolina, Austin and his family call Charleston home. He continues to pursue his passion for the outdoors daily and enjoys sharing the experience with his outdoor videography business.
