Austin is awesome! He is very knowledgeable and he puts so much effort into learning the waters and techniques. His hospitality is top notch!

Great morning with Austin. A true low- country experience. I’ve only been here a month or so and I have gone out with Austin several times. I took my sons on our last trip, and they had a great time . The positive thing about Austin other than his professional personality is he is versatile enough that we shot ducks early morning and then went and caught a nice bull red drum on light tackle. For me and my sons being able to do both really gave variety to the day and it was a lot of fun. Every trip I have had has also been very productive. I have not used Austin for any in-shore skiff fishing but that is something I’m looking forward to doing.

Our family of 4 had the best time with Austin for our first cast & blast! Austin was great with making sure we had a successful day on the water and took the extra steps to ensure the kids were taken care of and learning about the whole experience, too! We will be coming back!

Good communication. Very fun experience ! Very knowledgeable picked a very good hunting spot plenty of opportunity for game. Best part near down town Charleston. Would recommend.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Austin was a great boat captain and knew where all of the neat fossils would be! We are so happy with our loot! Can’t wait to come back and do it all over again!

My wife and I had an amazing time with Austin over the past weekend. We had the chance to fish over multiple days on differing tides and he put us on fish the entire time we were on the water… Great guy and fun to chat with. We are in the process of booking a few more days later this year!

Austin was a great guide and was very knowledgeable of the area. The weather change didn’t help our fish catching much but we didn’t manage to land a couple nice fish. Austin was very good with my 9yo son for his first time fishing as well. Overall, we had a great time! I would definitely take another trip with Austin when given the opportunity.

I’ve been out on trips with Austin Dozens of time. From skinny water sight fishing to bait fishing holes, I’ve never had a bad time on his skiff. AWESOME TIME with Austin! Met him at the boat launch early, so we hit the water looking for Big Reds! He found em right away, but my fly presentations weren’t what they were looking for. We switched up to spinning tackle and finally put one in the boat. My PB, but still room for improvement!! It was a little nippy on the water and since I forgot my jacket, Austin went above and beyond and quickly stopped back by his truck and grabbed a wind breaker for me. Now THAT is service! Most guides would’ve said, “too bad”, and I’d froze my butt off, but Austin is a Veteran and just shows there are good guys in the world still!! He put me on the fish and we had a blast! Saw dolphins and Ospreys and Blue Herons doing their thing in the wild! Do yourself a favor and call him when you’re ready for a good trip on the waters near Charleston, SC!!! Thanks again Austin, much respect young man!!

Recently completed a five day trip with Austin. Four of the five days the weather , both with temps and visibility, were front and center. Austin had a plan A, B , C and D. Even though the conditions were not favorable, he managed to put us on fish throughout each day. His knowledge of the area , both in where to locate and their behaviors, allowed us to target the redfish. He is very respectful of the habitat and residents along the waterways. Would certainly and will definitely book again. Would not hesitate.

Super fun, informative, and thoughtful guide. Conditions weren’t great for stalking low tide redfish, cloudy and visibility was poor, but can’t control the weather! Austin put me on several fish and taught me what type of features to look for. Great conversationalist, and it was cool to talk about sustainability and fishing. Charleston is really crowded, and he’s really intent on making anglers aware of human pressure on our fishery. Had a great time and learned a lot. Hope to go with him again in 2025!
