Capt. Peter L-J, or "L-J" as people know him, started fly fishing with his father at the age of 8 and never looked back. Hailing from the Connecticut and New England area, each summer was spent chasing striped bass, bonito, bluefish, and false albacore. During his younger years he also spent a great deal of time on his grandfather's farm in the lowcountry of South Carolina and that is where his love for the area grew. After attending the College of Charleston, Capt Peter explored a couple different career paths before following his heart to his true passion of fly fishing.
Captain Pete is a purist in lowcountry living. From wildlife photography to bull red fishing and more, Peter lives and breaths Charleston’s iconic humidity.
