Tybee Island location

Tybee Island is located on the southeastern coast of Georgia, just east of downtown Savannah – at the mouth of the Savannah River, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. This blend of environments makes it a hotspot for wildlife, including migratory birds, dolphins, and even sea turtles.  The island offers a relaxed, coastal vibe, while still offering easy access to the historic charm and cultural attractions of Savannah – and its mild temperatures make it the perfect destination for a winter weekend getaway.
