About
This is the foundational course for establishing a fly cast and learning fishing basics. Learn to set up a fly rod, differences between rod and reel weight classes, rigging and tying on a fly, essential knots, along with 3 basic casts. You will learn to Pick Up and Lay Down the line, roll cast, false cast and shoot line. We will work on distance, and managing a fish on the line. Plan for 2 hours of instruction.

There are many ways to escape city life and enjoy what the Texas Hill Country has to offer. I encourage all skill levels to enjoy time on our Texas waters.
