These limestone waters offer exciting fishing year-round, from Guadalupe and largemouth bass to Rio Grande cichlid, sunfish, carp, and gar in warmer months. Trout fishing on the Guadalupe is from October through April. Each river has its own personality, with opportunities for sight fishing and moments you won’t forget. We’ll handle the gear — rods, reels, and tackle are all included. Half-day trips come with snacks and drinks, while full-day adventures include a riverside lunch. Our 1-hour lesson ($75) is tailored to your goals — whether you want to fine-tune your cast or learn the basics for the first time. Our 2-hour Fly Fishing 101 course ($150) covers rod setup and rigging, rod and reel weight differences, essential knots, and three foundational casts (Pick Up & Lay Down, Roll Cast, and False Cast), plus time to work on shooting line, distance, accuracy, and "fish-on" techniques. Our 3-hour Extended Session ($250) includes everything in 'Fly Fishing 101' with an added hour of on-water instruction and real-time coaching to put new skills into practice.
