We got a rec for Andrew from a very experienced fisherman in my Austin neighborhood. We could not have been more pleased with our experience from start to finish. Andrew showed great expertise on our Guadalupe River float last weekend with a fantastic day of fishing. We are avid fishermen and have fished with very experienced guides from the Texas coast to Colorado and found Andrew to be very personable and one of the best! Andrew made our first fly fishing experience thoroughly enjoyable! He was a patient and effective instructor and attentive guide. We are two absolute beginners, yet was able to get us casting and on the water in no time. Highly recommend!

My future mother in law and I hit up the San Marcos with Andrew in mid November. We had an absolute blast on the river. Andrew is a very good raft operator, and he knows the area very well. I brought my own 6wt, but he has some great rods and flies for clients to use. Tips and pointers from Andrew were also very helpful and I'm leaving TX a better fly fisherman! I would fish with Andrew again!!

Andrew is a very encouraging and patient guide. I’m new to fly fishing and in the three hours we spent together I was able to learn some basic casting techniques, practice throwing along the creek, discussing basic terms and understanding what makes a great first rod and reel for a beginner. He answered every question I had that day and even took me on a guide through the Sportsman’s Finest shop to show me what flies would be best for getting started along Central Texas Creeks and Rivers. I’ve since got a rod and reel and I’m all set to go thanks to Andrew.
