Trailering his Maverick Flats skiff, Captain Eric is able to focus putting anglers on waters fishing best any given day. Captain Eric started guiding in the early 90s. His experience began as a river guide in the Rocky Mountains and throughout the Northwest, Guiding for shops like, Frying Pan Angler & Taylor Creek on Colorado’s Frying Pan & Roaring Fork and Kaufman's Streamborn & Gorge Fly Shop in Pacific NW Steelhead rivers for nearly 10 years prior to moving into a full-time Saltwater Guide. Licensed United States Coast Guard Captain, Maine Registered Guide and holds the proper Licenses to guide in Florida’s Monroe County, guiding between Maine, Florida Keys
since 2002. Captain Eric is also a member of the Thomas & Thomas Fly Rods, Hatch Reels Pro Teams.

VerifiedAwesome trip! I learned, I improved my casting and line management, we caught plenty of fish and I caught a FINE fish from very shallow water. This opened a new world of local possibilities to me! I've incorporated a couple of his line management tips and I am already presenting flies better and with more confidence! I got everything I wanted and expected out of my trip! Captain Wallace was calm, cool, prompt, patient, friendly and a good companion for an excellent day.
