About

Season Starts mid-May!

Welcome to Portland Maine! We have the confidence that you will be returning soon and often not only to fish a few tides & experience the area's unique fishery but also for the beauty and lifestyle only found in our little Coastal Maine towns that has become a favorite summer saltwater fishery.

Casco Bays nick-name is the Calendar Islands. It's been said to have an island for each day of the year 365, within 220 square miles of the bay the fishy structure is just as numerous! Add in mud and sand flats and perfect summer water temps, and you see why so many anglers return to fish with us and the Flats of Casco Bay over the past 20 plus years.

Tides:
Casco Bay, like most saltwater fisheries tides control how we approach our day and the best hours to fish on a given tide. Matching tide to sun can have us meeting at a boat ramp at often early hours but rewards of active fish with a stunning sunrises make up for that early alarm clock.

Flats & Fishy Structure:
We built our business on focusing on the flats of Casco Bay and Scarborough Marsh. You may find us poling one of our Maverick Flats Skiffs within the city’s view but a better chance we will be found around active fish in a uncrowded beautiful setting. Connecting the hundreds of islands is such a diverse fishery of structure, rivers, and flats.
