Enjoy a full-day of sight-fishing to tarpon, bonefish, and permit on Connor’s 17-ft Maverick Skiff in the flats in the Islamorada area. Connor prefers guiding experienced fly fishing anglers, but is accommodating to all experience levels. All fishing is catch-and-release. Fly fishing in Islamorada is extremely technical and the weather conditions often dictate the outcome of fish numbers, but great conversation, incredible scenery, and local knowledge of the fishery is a guarantee with Connor. He brings along a conventional rod for the occasional opportunistic shot at a laid up barracuda. Clients are expected to bring their own lunch and snacks. Location meeting details will be provided upon trip confirmation.
Exact meeting location will be provided after booking.
Islamorada, Florida • 10+ years of experience
Connor has a leg up on most guides with home court advantage in Islamorada, FL. He grew up in the Keys learning how to sight fish for tarpon, bonefish, and permit from his father at a very young age - a true local. Although Connor is a young gun, don’t sleep on his skills - he’s been poling around the flats for 15+ years with his friends, family, and a select few lucky clients. His dad had him on the water shortly after he was born. When Connor isn’t guiding fishing trips or taking photos, he’s a general contractor for residential homes. He’s a new father and one of the nicest and most skilled guides around. You’re guaranteed to have a good time regardless of your fish count. He’s charismatic and a great conversationalist.
