About
This 3 hour trip starts and ends in Rockport Harbor. Your guide will have the boat launched and ready for you to step on and set off. Your guide will fill you in on how the fishing works, go over safety and prepping you for fishing. As soon as you've exited the mooring field the fishing will start. We fish along the shoreline until we find fish and will usually fish there until they move on then continue on finding more fish. Along the shoreline your guide has some lobster traps that he can check if you're interested in seeing how Maine's Lobstering industry works and he will send you home with any legal lobsters caught. The fishing can be fast, full of hard hitting and hard fighting fish that can reach sizes of up to 50". Don't see the date you're looking for call us for availability.

I am Stephen Hand. I am a lifelong Mainer with an obsession for hunting and fishing, Just depends on the season. I have been fishing for over 25 years and have been Guiding for over 10 years. I am a Registered Maine Guide holding certifications in Fishing, Tidewater Fishing, Hunting, Recreational, and Sea Kayaking along with being a U.S. Coast Guard Captain. I am positioned in a unique part of Maine where we can target trout in the rivers, bass and pike in the lakes and striper and bluefish in the bay. All while being within minutes of one of the most beautiful areas of Maine, known for "Where the Mountains, meet the Sea" I also have my Rec lobster license so can share what lobstering in maine is like and send clients home with any legal lobster caught.
