This 3 hour trip starts and ends in Rockport Harbor. Your guide will have the boat launched and ready for you to step on and set off. Your guide will fill you in on how the fishing works, go over safety and prepping you for fishing. As soon as you've exited the mooring field the fishing will start. We fish along the shoreline until we find fish and will usually fish there until they move on then continue on finding more fish. Along the shoreline your guide has some lobster traps that he can check if you're interested in seeing how Maine's Lobstering industry works and he will send you home with any legal lobsters caught. On this trip we will fish some shallow water ledges by foot with Poppers and Clauser minnows by fly rod or poppers or swim baits from spin rods. These trips can provide up close and personal bites sometimes within feet of your feet in the water and can be extremely exciting especially on Top Water from a fly rod. Join your guide for a walk and wade trip after trout in some small local rivers within 30 minutes of beautiful Camden Maine. These trips generally don't yeild huge fish but what they lack in size they make up for in beauty and quantity. We have an extremely unique fishery where we can catch Brook trout with chances at Rainbow in the Megunticook river and then Brook and Brown trout with chances at smallmouth in the St. George river. Your guide will then motor to the first fishing spot based on wind conditions and recent fishing success. From here he will drop the bow mounted trolling motor and target Large or small mouth bass mainly with chances at, pickerel, rainbow trout, and brown trout. Depending on how the fish are biting you will usually fish 3 or more sections of the lake during a given trip. These trips generally yeild high quantities of fish in the 12-16" range with chances at fish over 20". Both beginners or expert fisherman are welcome as we cater to any skill level. On this 2 hour trip join the captain as he locatates schools of Menhaden, more commonly referred to as Pogies. Where you will use rod and line to catch lobster bait. Once efficient bait has been caught you'll get to watch the captain pull his 5 traps and see how Maine Lobstering works. Any Legal Lobster caught can be taken home by the clients. Maine's Turkey season runs from April 29th through June 1st 2024. Hunters are allowed 2 bearded birds during the season and it is not uncommon to take both birds in the same day. Hunts can be very quick and action packed. Hunts start out early at a pre scouted (roosted) spot for the first 1-2hrs. If unsuccessful we will check other known spots and "run and gun" or our personal favorite reap turkeys with a fan decoy. Hunt runs from first shot until 8-9am great pre work hunt. Half day hunts also available.
