About
On this 3 hour trip your guide will have the boat launched and ready for you to step on the boat and set off. During the first few minutes of the trip your guide will go over fishing techniques and safety. Your guide will then motor to the first fishing spot based on wind conditions and recent fishing success. From here he will drop the bow mounted trolling motor and target Large or small mouth bass mainly with chances at, pickerel, rainbow trout, and brown trout. Depending on how the fish are biting you will usually fish 3 or more sections of the lake during a given trip. These trips generally yeild high quantities of fish in the 12-16" range with chances at fish over 20". Both beginners or expert fisherman are welcome as we cater to any skill level. I am Stephen Hand. I am a lifelong Mainer with an obsession for hunting and fishing, Just depends on the season. I have been fishing for over 25 years and have been Guiding for over 10 years. I am a Registered Maine Guide holding certifications in Fishing, Tidewater Fishing, Hunting, Recreational, and Sea Kayaking along with being a U.S. Coast Guard Captain. I am positioned in a unique part of Maine where we can target trout in the rivers, bass and pike in the lakes and striper and bluefish in the bay. All while being within minutes of one of the most beautiful areas of Maine, known for "Where the Mountains, meet the Sea" I also have my Rec lobster license so can share what lobstering in maine is like and send clients home with any legal lobster caught.
