On this trip we will fish some shallow water ledges by foot with Poppers and Clauser minnows by fly rod or poppers or swim baits from spin rods. These trips can provide up close and personal bites sometimes within feet of your feet in the water and can be extremely exciting especially on Top Water from a fly rod. I am Stephen Hand. I am a lifelong Mainer with an obsession for hunting and fishing, Just depends on the season. I have been fishing for over 25 years and have been Guiding for over 10 years. I am a Registered Maine Guide holding certifications in Fishing, Tidewater Fishing, Hunting, Recreational, and Sea Kayaking along with being a U.S. Coast Guard Captain. I am positioned in a unique part of Maine where we can target trout in the rivers, bass and pike in the lakes and striper and bluefish in the bay. All while being within minutes of one of the most beautiful areas of Maine, known for "Where the Mountains, meet the Sea" I also have my Rec lobster license so can share what lobstering in maine is like and send clients home with any legal lobster caught.
