About
Maine's Turkey season runs from April 29th through June 1st 2024. Hunters are allowed 2 bearded birds during the season and it is not uncommon to take both birds in the same day. Hunts can be very quick and action packed. Hunts start out early at a pre scouted (roosted) spot for the first 1-2hrs. If unsuccessful we will check other known spots and "run and gun" or our personal favorite reap turkeys with a fan decoy.

I am Stephen Hand. I am a lifelong Mainer with an obsession for hunting and fishing, Just depends on the season. I have been fishing for over 25 years and have been Guiding for over 10 years. I am a Registered Maine Guide holding certifications in Fishing, Tidewater Fishing, Hunting, Recreational, and Sea Kayaking along with being a U.S. Coast Guard Captain. I am positioned in a unique part of Maine where we can target trout in the rivers, bass and pike in the lakes and striper and bluefish in the bay. All while being within minutes of one of the most beautiful areas of Maine, known for "Where the Mountains, meet the Sea" I also have my Rec lobster license so can share what lobstering in maine is like and send clients home with any legal lobster caught.
