Here in Islamorada Florida, we have the ability to offer a variety of 1st class fishing trips to our visitors. Our shark fishing trips offer our guests the opportunity to catch a number of sharks of all shapes and sizes just minutes from the dock!
During our Islamorada shark fishing trips anglers may have the opportunity to sight fish for sharks on any of our shallow flats, drift and chum for SHARKS in the Gulf of Mexico, or visit our vast backcountry and catch them on bait. Additionally if the conditions are right, we can catch numerous shark species on fly.
Our Florida Keys Shark fishing trips may be one of the most rewarding fishing charters available with a catch ratio much greater than some of our other famous sport fish species. Sharks are capable of putting any angler to task as these fish are big, mean, powerful, unpredictable and most of all EXCITING!
At Florida Keys Fun Fishing, we provide many charter options for those who enjoy family fishing in the Florida Keys. Kids of all ages love SHARKS and so do we. Imagine the smile on your child’s face as they hold their very own SHARK for a picture. Show and Tell will never be the same! For those seeking a challenge, we also target a number of shark species here in Islamorada with fly fishing tackle.
Exact meeting location will be provided after booking.

Florida Keys Fun Fishing is owned and operated by Capt. Mark Johnson and his wife, Kara, and located right in the heart of Islamorada, the centerpiece of Florida Keys Fishing. Capt. Mark spent much of his childhood right here in Islamorada as a destination for his family. Oddly enough, all through the 70′s, his family stayed at the original La Siesta Resort and Marina, located at Mile Marker 80.5 ocean side, in Islamorada. “My parents loved to go boating, fishing, and snorkeling and they created endless family fun in the Florida Keys for their kids. My younger brother and I spent many a day and night as kids fishing, snorkeling and flat out exploring islands in the Florida Bay and Everglades and that created a passion that still drives me today 35 yrs later.”
