Get ready to fish the offshore blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean! You know, all that water on the east side of our islands! You can explore this vast offshore fishery two ways…. A Reef trip up to 5 miles out or a “Deep Sea” adventure potentially 20+ miles offshore!
Here bigger is better! These trips go out on the open waters of Oceanside Islamorada on a 34’ center console open fisherman offshore boat. Ready to handle whatever weather Mother Nature throws at us, these boats are made for adventure and can take 6 people, however, up to 4 is ideal. For an optimal experience, get out for 6 or 8 hours to capitalize on making the most out of your travel time offshore!
You can expect to explore the Atlantic oceanside waters of Islamorada on a fully outfitted boat ready to conquer the day! You can have a fun time on the water whether it’s your first time out or your 50th! Our captains offer lots of smiles, instruction as needed, and have all the skills to make the day fun filled for all!
We run two types of offshore trips: Reef Trips for 4 or 6 hours and Deep Sea/Offshore Trips for 6 or 8 Hours!
An offshore charter can let you experience the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean at its best and maybe even get a picture of your very own prized catch! These trips are usually morning departures and leave early. They aren’t for the faint of heart. Or stomach. So plan accordingly to be sure your group is up for the adventure! No refunds for coming in early due to seasickness. If you’re not sure offshore is for you all, let us show you the beautiful calm waters on a backcountry charter instead!

Florida Keys Fun Fishing is owned and operated by Capt. Mark Johnson and his wife, Kara, and located right in the heart of Islamorada, the centerpiece of Florida Keys Fishing. Capt. Mark spent much of his childhood right here in Islamorada as a destination for his family. Oddly enough, all through the 70′s, his family stayed at the original La Siesta Resort and Marina, located at Mile Marker 80.5 ocean side, in Islamorada. “My parents loved to go boating, fishing, and snorkeling and they created endless family fun in the Florida Keys for their kids. My younger brother and I spent many a day and night as kids fishing, snorkeling and flat out exploring islands in the Florida Bay and Everglades and that created a passion that still drives me today 35 yrs later.”
