Freestone River Anglers 10-19 years of experience

About

For the small stream junkie this is a great place to get lost. Great wild water for rainbows and browns and if you know where to look, beautiful native Brookies. There are also areas that hold very nice smallmouth bass. Going after wild trout is a challenging yet rewarding experience, often times you are in tight spaces having to delivery accurate presentations. While our native brookies may not be the biggest they do rank up there as one of the prettiest fish species. Showing people these places and how to catch these fish is something we love doing!

Things you can expect to learn on any fly fishing trip.

Reading the water and figuring out where trout live, and why they’re there.
Casting
The most effective techniques for presenting your fly to the fish.
Streamside entomology with live bugs. Knowing what the fish are eating, the lifecycle the bugs go through and how that helps us catch more fish.

How to ethically fight, land, photograph, and release fish
