Here along the Historic Coast our fishing is very dependent upon tide, seasons, and of course the weather. Inshore we target red drum(redfish), black drum, speckled trout, flounder and sheepshead. Nearshore/offshore we target Cobia, snapper , Albis, tarpon, kingfish, and so much more. We use conventional spinning reels and offer various methods such as live bait, artificial lures, and top water plugs. Along with conventional methods we also specialize in fly fishing and sight fishing. Catch and release is highly encouraged on certain species, if interested in keeping fish please let us know so we can discuss what’s in season before booking.

The marsh hen is a client favorite here on the historic coast. The clapper or king rail commonly refered to as a marsh hen is a seasonal target and is often paired with our flood tide seasonal fishing trips known as a “cast & blast combo”. On this trip you will troll the creek to a flooded grass flat where we can wade and flush up the marsh hens all while searching for a tailing redfish on the spartina flats, a true outdoorsman’s paradise!
