Excellent trip with Mike. Very experienced when we weren't so much.

My boyfriend and I went on a 4 hour excursion led by Jerry Soupal while visiting from CA, and he went above and beyond to get us to what felt like nearly every spot possible after not having very much luck catching anything. Although we only caught one fish each, which was the perfect way to end the day, the real highlight of the trip was time spent talking to, learning from, and hanging out with our guide Jerry! He made sure we didn’t leave without catching something and it really meant a lot to us! 10/10!!

We fished with Jerry and he was great. We had a very tough day with the weather (very cold) and we knew the fishing was going to be difficult. But it was our only day to fish. I was really excited about fishing new waters, especially the “low country “. I have always heard about the crazy eats some of these redfish do with their eyeballs out of the water chasing around tiny grass shrimp. We finally got to see it, just before dark (and the nicest part of the day). A redfish was chasing shrimp with in two feet of a bird who wasn’t bothered at all by the redfish. It was awesome to watch, I hooked up but couldn’t keep the line tight. I have been an outfitter in the fishing business since 1989 and I have always told my guides that the difference between a good guide and a great guide, is how a guide handles a tough day of fishing. Jerry made it a great day! Hope to see you guys again soon.

Great experience from start to finish. Mike’s technical knowledge and experience guided my daughter and I through a very exciting, fun, and successful fishing trip. Once we got on the redfish, it was nonstop action. My daughter,who is a beginner, was reeling them in like a pro by the time we took it in for the day. Not only that, she caught her PB thus far. Absolutely wonderful!! Carsen was fantastic!! The boat was clean and very comfortable and he was a great driver/cruiser!! Loved going through the marsh. I really went in with no expectations, just figured it’d be great to be on the water. My son and I were SO pleased!! Have been telling all my friends. My wife and myself fished with Jerry Soupal… it was a great time. Launched a little after 3pm and we fished 4+ hours. Jerry was a great guide, friendly, knowledgeable and fun to interact with… he put us on some fish. Redfish, Speckled Trout, etc. It was a last minute trip and Jerry was very accommodating. His rates were fair and the paying process was easy. We hope to fish with Jerry again next year. It was a good day to be outside and enjoy nature.

Great day with captain Mike. Caught reds and a 29" and a 30.5" red. A few trout and also some flounder. This group knows the water and where the fish are. Definitely will get out with this group again. Thanks for memories

Justin, Mike, Carson, and Bryan all worked extremely hard on a 2-day trip with 7 fishermen. They all were very clean and prepared in the boat. They knew the area we were fishing like the back of their hand and provided an amazing experience for all of us. They all were super fun to be around and gave us lots of opportunities at fish. St. Augustine is a very beautiful place and Historic Coast Outfitters knows how to get it done. Highly recommended trip!

I enjoyed a 4 hour inner bay charter with Captain Justin. He worked the high probability spots given the tide, temperature and water conditions as only an experienced local guide could do. Highly recommended

I fish a ton of charters all over Florida, but I was really impressed by my trip last week with Jerry. He has a great personality, a bad ass boat, and he worked his ass off on the pole to put us on fish in some challenging conditions. He pushed us a couple miles back in a creek chasing a school of what had to be 50 reds as we picked them off one by one. I've come to realize it takes more than just catching fish to make a good charter experience, this was as good as I've had and I'll absolutely be booking with Jerry again.
