Lia grew up in Houston, Texas, and moved to Colorado in 2015. She swam in college before earning her master’s degree, but fly fishing has always been a constant in her life. What started as a pastime with her dad grew into a lifelong passion—one rooted in curiosity, connection, and the simple joy of being on the water.
For Lia, fly fishing is about more than catching trout. It’s about the peace of being outside, learning from the river, and sharing those moments with others. She loves exploring new streams, tying her own flies, and seeing how each day on the water brings something different. The fish are always a welcome bonus, but the true reward is the time spent outdoors, in rhythm with the river.
