Had a great couple of days of fishing with Josh. Conditions were less than ideal when we got down, but Josh gave us some options and worked hard to get us on fish, I would definitely fish with him again!

Had an outstanding trip with Captain Josh in November 2024. Josh is a pro and consistently had us on fish (juvy tarpon, redfish, snook) at every turn. The gear he provided was top notch, and his skiff provided an enjoyable ride. He was a pleasure to work with as we poled around Everglades National Park for a 3/4-day trip. Most importantly (for me), Josh is a willing educator. He helped with my fly casting, fish spotting, and everything in between (I'm an amateur at the saltwater fly fishing game). Fish with Josh and you'll have fun, consistent chances at fish, and you'll become a better fly angler.

The fishing trip with Josh was great. He is knowledgeable, helpful and and overall great guide to be with. My wife and I had very minimal experience with fly fishing and he almost got us 4 different types of fish in the boat. He was enjoyable to be with and would love to be with him again soon.

Had a great time learning to fly fish from a boat like this. I’m a newer angler, my double haul and casting isn’t great yet, and Josh adjusted the location and instructions accordingly to match my skill. Also accommodated me trading off casting with my dad who is a spin caster, taught us how to catch sea trout on a spin rod, and I landed my first red fish and snook on the fly thanks to Josh. His boat was great, too. Thanks dude!

Josh was a fantastic guide for my first salt trip. He got me on some fish and patiently taught me how to fly fish for the new species and tackle.

I’ve fished around the world but always wanted to catch a bigger tarpon and Josh made my dream come true. I’ve learned there are good guides and there are not so great guides. Josh is neither; he’s awesome! Right from the moment we first stepped into his boat he was a friend. We caught amazing tarpon (and lots of other fish) he treated my wife like she was a queen. At the end of our fishing days with Josh not only had I checked off several items from my bucket list but I’ve made a new friend and I now have memories which will last me a lifetime.

This was my second trip to the Keys. My bucket list was a Tarpon on the fly and Josh certainly did not disappoint! Josh got me my first Tarpon on the fly and I briefly hooked another. Josh was very knowledgeable and very helpful besides being great company. My wife and I got a first class tour and education on the wildlife and ways of the Keys and Everglades. Capt Josh was a great guide to fish with. He put us on fish early to wait till the tides turned so we could go after the fish I was wanting to target specifically. Worked extremely hard to make it a memorable trip!

Josh was terrific, good knowledge of the surrounding waters, nice sense of humor and provided a very pleasant experience. Much appreciated and he even humored me by letting me fish for tarpon in the morning. Plenty of fish were caught, with a wild shark experience thrown in. 👍🌴🐠

Everything was fantastic from the first phone call to the trip. My phone call was returned, my questions answered, and a trip was planed, The boat was above my expectations, the Captain was fun and we caught fish! Captain Eric Rodriguez put a lot of effort into catching bait and took us to "special spot". We caught two huge snook in the first 5 cast! Amazing! Everything was great. Cory and Josh at Postcard handled it all! Our booking was last minute and they made it happen!

Josh was great to fish with he worked hard all day to put us on fish. There was never any shortage of entertaining conversation with myself and my son.

Got to fish with Josh and Eric. Tough conditions with the wind but they got us on the snook. They know the water and how to fish it. Will definitely come back!

Josh was awesome. My only goal was to catch a tarpon and he put me on one first thing in the morning. Since I’m still a little “green” with the fly rod, Josh guided me through the whole process. If I was doing something wrong he would correct me but was never rude or impatient. We ran around all day looking for more tarpon and permit. Hands down the best guided trip I’ve had. I’ll be booking with Josh again in the future.

Captain Josh did a fantastic job; with tough conditions we found fish and had a great time. Captain Josh is very knowledgeable and knows how to adjust to conditions to ensure you get on fish. I will be back to fish with Moon Cast Anglers, a professional outfit!

Josh did a great job locating the fish and advising me on techniques to catch them. My only regret is that I was not able to hook the giant tarpon that we snuck up on!
