Paul was the absolute best guide we have ever had. We spent two nights on a Chickee three days of fishing. He did all the cooking, supplied the tent. We highly recommend Paul and this trip for everyone.

Our photography wild life tour was awesome! Paul was knowledgeable of the environment and its rich history!! We were able to see all the species we wanted to photograph as well as so much more!!! Paul was absolutely amazing! I had a specific question before booking and he answered same day. He stayed in communication way before our trip was scheduled, sending me location, pictures of the actual boat, answering all questions within minutes. Our fishing experience was the highlight of our trip. We caught tons of fishing, without waiting... we would put the line in the water within 3 minutes we would have a fish! He was so informative and passionate about the Everglades and fishing. To top off a great experience we were able to see a pod of dolphins, they were interested in us too, they played and rode our waves right in front of the boat!!!

My 12 year old son, 8 year old daughter, and I went fishing with Captain Paul on Sat 3/7/2026 out of Flamingo Marina in the Everglades and it was an amazing experience! Paul is very knowledgeable, friendly, and a great teacher to myself and my kids. He taught my daughter, who was fishing for her first time, to bait her hook, cast, and reel in the fish by herself. We had a blast and experienced the magic of Everglades fishing and exploration!

We had a wonderful day on the water with Paul on a wildlife photography excursion. There were 3 of us, so we were able to go on his shallow-draft boat, and he exceeded our expectations. We got up close to flamingos, white pelicans, and crocodiles. We also saw bald eagles, ospreys, great blue herons, and various egrets, herons, and other birds! Epic day!

As a mom taking my 14-year-old son fishing in the Everglades this January (2026), I can say without hesitation that our day with Captain Paul of Legacy Charters was one of the best days of our lives! It was one of the busiest fishing days many locals had seen — yet you would never have known it. Captain Paul knew every secret spot in the Everglades. While other boats clustered in the obvious areas, he took us where the fish were (and other fishermen weren’t)! We set out hunting tarpon and ended up with an unforgettable day catching Jack, Mangrove Snapper, Spotted Trout, Ladyfish, and more. But what truly set the experience apart wasn’t just the fishing — it was Captain Paul himself. This was not a guide who simply boats you somewhere and hands you a pole. Captain Paul knew exactly when to step in with a tip or technique and when to let my son work through the moment and feel the pride of figuring it out. Not only did he teach us some fishing tactics, but also about the wildlife, ecosystem, and breathtaking beauty of the Everglades. Captain Paul was invested in our success & smiles…and making sure we left with memories that will last a lifetime! Superb fishing guide for families and adults alike.

Paul was a great guide! Came to Flamingo Adventure launch in the National Everglades Park bright and early and knew the area incredibly well and was more informative than the backwater tour boat guides! Found us fish (and gators and crocs) and was patient and helpful. Would def recommend his half day charter, but guessing his full day would be just as great!

Paul has been an awesome guide and word hard to catch a lot of fishes. He is very knowledgeable and doesn’t hesitate to provide tips and guidance while fighting big fish!!! It was ours second trip with himself and we come back again for sure.

Great time with Paul he knew exactly where the fish live. Captain Paul was very patient teaching my girlfriend, which aloud me to catch plenty of fish. Tarpon snook redfish jacks snappers, seen sharks dolphin and crocodile. We definitely will fish with him again when down at Flamingo lodge!

Capt. Paul offers a unique fishing charter experience like no other. He grew up fishing Flamingo and around the Everglades and really knows the area. We wanted a back country experience fishing for Snook & Tarpon. He brings a canoe along with his fishing boat and we took it to a creek/canal that you carry the canoe over a dam. There was nobody there and it was quite an adventure. We caught Snook, hooked several Tarpon, saw sharks and crocs and overall a very fun day. Paul is one great guy and fisherman who provided us a great day. I look forward to fishing with Paul again. Thanks Paul.

Paul was great! Wonderful fishing experience! He took us all over the Everglades to a bunch of different spots to catch many different species of fish! He was extremely helpful. Fishing was slow at first, but he made sure to put in the effort and continually move us to different spots in order to get fish. He was also great at spotting the wildlife, teaching us about it, and trying to get us a great view on our half day fishing trip. Totally worth it and would highly recommend! We were staying in Florida for a couple days and he even gave us some great restaurant recommendations as well! :)
