First tarpon fly fishing trip with Captain Justin Bachert (Hot Water Fishing) booked through Seven Mile Fly Shop. Had a fantastic day and Justin used his excellent local knowledge to put me straight into fish with 3 tarpon which I was delighted with. The whole set up was first rate - the gear was all top notch, skiff immaculate. Justin was also great company and a very patient guide with a saltwater beginner. I would highly recommend Justin for a guided day in the Keys! I can also highly recommend Seven Mile Fly Shop - extremely welcoming to the visiting angler and some great gear. It really felt like the focal point to the local fly fishing community - I wish we had more shops like this in the UK!

Seven Mile Fly Shop hooked me up with Greg Smith for two days of fishing. Greg is extremely skilled and we got many shots at tarpon and baby tarpon despite high winds and challenging conditions. He is an excellent guide and I recommend him highly.

The weather didn't cooperate much, but Derek helped make the best of it. He really knew the area well. Highly recommend him and the shop.

Great shop, knowledgeable staff

7 Mile not only hooked me up with a fantastic guide for a terrific day on the water, but Brooks and other staff were uber helpful the multiple times I went in their shop when I needed help with my gear and also fly selection and rig set up. Popping in is a must if you’re fly fishing in the Keys.

Our guide was terrific. The weather was less than ideal - 20 mph winds, and yet he got us on fish. Very knowledgeable about the fishery and put us in a great position to land fish.
