Capt. Eric is an outstanding guide. I am 79 and have been fishing since I was 6 years old. Eric puts you on fish, has great advice and coaching skills. He is knowledgeable in the techniques you need to catch fish. I highly recommend him. My brother and I had a blast fishing with Eric. We gone out with him several times. You will be glad you chose him for your trip!

We had an incredible 2 days with Eric. Eric is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He has an incredible understanding of the small islands in the Everglades National Park and what fish and where. The first day was windy and other Captains were canceling trips he gave us the option to still fish and we caught a wide range of fish. Over the 2 days we caught Tarpon, Snook, Goliath Grouper, sea trout, lady fish, barracuda, and a ton of snapper. On the second day he let us try fly fishing. It is very different from fly fishing for trout. He was very helpful in trying to help us and teach us the difference. It is a lot harder than it looks. What a great couple days with my sons. Great day, thoughtful and exciting

Eric is an incredibly knowledgeable guide. Put me right on the fish at every stop. He grew up on these water and it really showed when I fished too long and it got pitch dark and we had a good 30 ride in. He clearly knows this area like the back of his hand. If your looking for a great captain and a great trip, Eric's your guy ! I'm chartering him again in July.

We meet Eric on Friday at the docks as he was cleaning his boat from the charter he just got back from. He took the time to explain where he fishes and what the target fish would be even though he was busy at the end of the day. We booked a 4 hour charter, can’t wait to book a longer charter next year.

Captain Eric was great. We caught fish all day. He knew all the spots and was very efficient in getting around We caught snapper, snook, sea trout, grouper and more. Was a good day on the water. Would recommend at least the 3/4 day trip - was worth it. Was a big $$ investment for one person, but lots of memories and worth it.

Great time. Caught Snook, Snapper, and Goliath Grouper. Eric even found a mom & baby dolphin that then swam with the boat. Really enjoyed the trip.

Eric went way out of his way to show us a great time. My wife and I both landed great fish and had an amazing time in the Everglades. The best part of the trip was on the way back in Eric saw a permit and took the time to pole me to within a fifty foot cast. That was a bonus I never expected and all because Eric wanted us to have that opportunity. Hire Eric he is a great guide you will have fun.

Awesome trip catching mangrove snapper, snook and even Goliath grouper! My wife can’t deal with any seas at all as she gets very seasick. Backwater trip sight casting in Everglades was a blast!

Enjoyed my trip with Capt. Eric. Was a little windy with a few bumps but the Maverick handles the chop just fine and Capt knew where to find decent water to get there. Was just looking to find some snook or anything to tug on the line. Capt Eric knew right where the fish were and had me on them the entire trip. I struggled getting the small pilchards into the feeding zones but when in the right spot it was nearly an automatic strike. Lots of Mangos in the way but had plenty of shots at Goliath Grouper and Snook. Capt. Eric was super friendly and very patient. Would recommend him to anyone looking for fun "catching" in the Park.

We had a great day fishing with Captain Eric Rodriguez. Even though the water was cloudy following a tropical storm, Eric put us onto fish and gave us the right tips to catch them. I had never fished the Keys, but can now add tarpon, snook, grouper, lemon shark, and very tasty snapper! He seemed to know every inch of the water, and was knowledgeable about the local wildlife as well. Best fishing day ever!!! Thank you Eric!
