I was born and raised in the country, just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia. At a very young age I developed a passion for the outdoors, particularly in the arts of fly fishing. In high school I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout; and accomplished this, in part, by creating an annual fly fishing camp for folks with various physical and mental disabilities. The camp is still being run over 17 years later. I’ve always been very driven, with a knack for problem solving. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Material Science and Engineering. An engineering job moved me South Carolina, where I had my first experience with tailing redfish. Shortly thereafter, I bought myself my first flats boat and left my engineering career to pursue my passion for fly fishing. I’ve worked as a professional guide and charter captain for past five years, running up to 220 charters a year. Over the past decade, I have worked hard, putting in countless hours to unlock some of the secrets the low country’s fisheries have to offer. I absolutely love what I do; and try to wake up each day with a relentless pursuit get better and learn more.

Capt Caleb Andrews is an amazing guide and elevated my fly fishing experience. This was my first salt experience on the fly. Caleb quickly assessed my abilities (given the conditions), added a few pointers, and then he put me in perfect range of fish many times. Caleb has great communication, Greta intuition, prepared and safe. Caleb is obviously obsessed with stalking big fish and his passion is contagious! I landed my first red with him and the entire day was a blast! Book it! You are guaranteed the best shots possible for the day!! Thanks for the amazing day, can’t wait to get back soon!Read more
Capt Caleb Andrews is my favorite guide out of the Charleston area. He is an obsessed fisherman who always puts in the time and hard work in order to make a fishing trip with him enjoyable and memorable. He takes care of his clients and always puts them first. I have fished with 15-20 different guides over the years and Capt Caleb is at the top of the list. I highly recommend!!Read more
Capt. Caleb is an excellent fly guide. I have fished with him several times and learn something new each trip. He works incredibly hard to find fish and can always get the angler a good shot once he finds them. I especially appreciate that he ties his own flies, has incredible patience, and is always willing to explain tactics and offer coaching. Lookinh forward to setting some PRs with him on future trips.Read more
Fishing with Caleb is a joy. No matter your experience level, he is a great coach with your cast. He will always find the fish regardless of the conditions - if they will eat is another story. He ties all of his own flies and is quick to experiment in the event it is needed. He won’t let you down if you go out with him for a day!Read more
