Texas Mosca

Sean Polk grew up in Arlington, Texas and cut his teeth fishing for bass and panfish on the local lakes and rivers of north Texas. He’s been an avid fly fisherman for over 30 years and spent the last two decades working as an instructor and sales manager for various fly shops. His knowledge of the local water is vast and he’s been a featured speaker for various clubs throughout the state. He’s been featured on Lone Star Outdoors News and Field & Stream.

His work in the fly fishing industry has allowed him to travel extensively and fish for a variety of species across the Americas. Some of his favorite destinations have been The Palometa Club in Punta Allen, Mexico, Turneffe Flats Lodge in Belize and the jungles of Bolivia in pursuit of golden dorado.

Sean is also an accomplished fly tier and he often has his own flies on the boat for clients to use. He’s combined years of experience both fishing and fly tying to develop flies that are easy to cast and catch fish.

Sean lives in Dallas with his wife Shonda. He spends his time away from the water trying to perfect his barbecue and bird hunting.
