Tidal Waters Guide Service

Half Day: 4 hour trips are great for first timers, as well as days with extreme temps whether that's hot or cold. Most fly trips are planned around the tides due to our extreme tidal changes. Fly rods, reels, and flies are included with the trip but if you're more comfortable with your own equipment then you're welcome to bring it as well. Bottled water and ice is always on the boat as well as sunscreen and bug spray. Expect to have a short boat ride and most of the fishing time will be in back creek systems and flooded grass flats with majority of the water being 2 foot to less than 1 foot deep. All experience levels welcome. 3/4 Day: 6 hour is the most common and offers the best experience. The two extra hours from the four hour allows for fishing of almost an entire tide cycle. This trip is spent primarily in back creeks and flooded grass flats. Expect a short boat ride, and fishing in water 2 foot to less than 1 foot deep. Rod, reels and flies are included but if you're more comfortable with your own gear you're welcome to bring it. Ice, bottled water, sun screen, and bug spray are provided as well. Full day: This is a great way to get familiar with the amazing fishery the Lowcountry has to offer. On this trip having the entire day allows us to fish two tide cycles. The main targeted species is Redfish but can absolutely be adjusted to what the angler would like to target as well.

What to Expect You’ll spend three days chasing large schools of redfish along the flats of Folly Beach, Kiawah Island, and Charleston Harbor. With fewer boats and colder temperatures, the water clears up and the fish group together in tight schools. Every cast becomes a chance at multiple eats. Each trip includes: Three 6-hour guided fishing days with some of the Lowcountry's best guides, four nights in Oceanfront lodging at The Tides Hotel on Folly Beach, steps from your pickup dock. Breakfast and lunch each day prepared fresh before your trip. All tackle and flies included, or bring your own setup.
