Great experience. As a beginner to fly fishing my skills improved 200% over a single float. Our guide Brady was insightful, instructive and fun. Highly recommend.

My goal was to learn how to fly fish. I found out I need alot more practice. But Jamie taught us all the basics. He is a patient man. We even caught some fish on the fly rod, so it was a successful day. Jamie represents your company very well.

Great trip and experience on the James River. Bass were a bit fickle and in some ways spooked due to the continuous weekend rafters and canoeing, but was able to make do. Enjoyed the company of Brad who was a very good guide and excellent company for the entire 8 miles stretch along the James River. I’d go back again and fish with this team.

Great trip - Jamie was a great guide

We fly fished two days floating with Brady as our guide in early May, first day for wild trout on the Jackson and next day on the New for smallmouth bass. Rain in days before meant high water and cooler temps so our options were limited mostly to streamers on sinking lines. Brady worked really hard back rowing and constantly trying new flies and tweaks despite the tougher than planned conditions and we both got a few nice fish in the net. I would highly recommend both Brady and Wes Hodges fly fishing for fly anglers.
