We had a great day on the Neversink with Joe. It was rainy and terribly miserable weather - but we got on fish anyhow and still had an awesome time. Will be back!!

It was pouring rain the whole time but we were all smiles and laughs, led by our great guide Josh. We communicated regularly leading up to our day so we knew what to expect. Josh was full of local knowledge and tips to keep us taking mental notes. We battled and it was looking like we may have to settle for the hook ups but we had one hell of a finish to the day. Beautiful place and great memories. I’d highly recommend the guys at Covert Creek!

Fantastic time fly fishing for a full day. My wife and I were first timer fly fishes and Joe kept it informative and balanced for fun. He showed us some great spots which were quiet and we had a great time. Even if we caught nothing, it would have been a blast: as luck would have it, we managed to bag 3 fish between us. Can't wait to do it again!

Great experience! Goal was to learn, develop my craft, and potential get on fish, it was just that. Joe is a great teacher and guide that helped me gain knowledge to how to better myself as a fly fisherman. While the trout were uncooperative (imagine that!?!) our guide, Jeff, was knowledgeable, and very patient with my son and me as we are complete newbies to fly-fishing. He was also good company! I had an amazing day fly fishing in the Catskills with my 10-year-old son, all thanks to Covert Creek’s incredible guide, Josh. From the moment we met, Josh was patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing his love for fly fishing. He worked closely with my son, taking the time to teach him the fundamentals of fly casting in a way that was fun and easy to understand. Watching my son gain confidence with each cast was a joy in itself. Not only did we both learn a lot, but we also caught plenty of beautiful rainbow trout in the process! The scenery was stunning, the water was clear, and the entire experience was something we'll never forget. Josh’s expertise and genuine enthusiasm made the day special for both of us.
