The all wild Trout Population consists of Rainbow and Brown Trout that average 19 inches. On top of accessibility and Climate one of the key advantages Arizona has over most Quail Hunting Destinations is that Arizona is home to three huntable species of Wild Quail which include Mearns, Gambels, and Scaled Quail. All threes species of Arizona Quail are dependent on timely rains. In the case of Gambels Quail they require Winter Rain, Scaled Quail also like Winter Rain but will respond to Summer Rains, Mearns Quail require or respond to Summer or Monsoon rains. The Benefit for planing an Arizona Guided Quail Hunt is that Arizona always has huntable populations of Wild Quail for Quail Hunters to pursue. Our licensed and local Arizona Quail Hunting Guides like to target all three species during the course of a guided Arizona Quail Hunt. Ensuring that our Clients have the opportunity to harvest an Arizona Quail Slam consisting of the three species of Arizona Quail. Arizona Quail Hunting Limit Daily Limit = 15 which 8 can be Mearns Quail It is generally too hot in October to Hunt. We suggest waiting until mid November to Book a Guided Arizona Quail Hunt

Located in S.E. Arizona, The El Coronado Lodge is the only all “wild” Arizona Quail Hunting Lodge in Arizona. In 2021 there was a change in ownership, bringing the total acreage to an excess of 150,000 acres of private and inaccessible Forest Service and State Trust Land in Arizona and New Mexico which we are permitted for. The Primary Private Land that we hunt has been managed - and in some cases restored - for Quail habitat. The Lodge and Hunting Program have been featured in Covey Rise, Shooting Sportsman, Grays Sporting Journal, and other sporting magazines. The El Coronado Lodge is the finest wild bird hunting lodge of its kind in North America. This unique venue is hunted 6-8 times per year and slots are limited to 10 Hunters. Hunters can expect to have a shot at harvesting the coveted Arizona Quail Slam quite easily during a three day hunt as Mearns, Gambels, and Scaled Quail can all be found on our Ranches. Furthermore, due to the intensive Arizona Quail Habitat restoration practices that have taken place, Wild Arizona Quail species do not fluctuate as much compared to areas or properties where there has been little or no Quail Habitat Restoration or management.

Since 2000 we have Guided Bird Hunters from around the World on Saskatchewan Upland Bird and Waterfowl Hunts in the vast and open Prairre of S.W. Saskatchewan. Our Saskatchewan Upland Bird Hunting Clients wil experience the best "all wild "Hungarian Partridge and Sharptail Grouse Upland Bird Hunting experience in North America. Hunters can expect to hunt a variety of Habitats that Saskatchewan Upland Birds call home. These habitats vary from abandoned Farmsteads ,Hedgerows,Coulees,River Breaks, Sand Hills and Slough Bottoms. We take full advantage of being located in the heart of The Central Fly-Way staging area. This allows our Clients can also mix Upland Bird Hunting with World Class and Famous Waterfowl hunting for a variety of Ducks, Cranes and Geese. Our Saskatchewan Waterfowl Hunts are conducted in both fields and over water using a variety of Blinds and Decoys. Our season starts Sept 15th and we run until October 31st.Then we head home to Arizona and start Guiding Quail Hunts.We look forward each year to getting up to Saskatchewan and showing our Clients a great Upland Saskatchewan Upland Bird hunt. Needless to say our string of 14 Dogs comprising of English Pointers, Brittany Spaniels and Labradors also enjoy the Saskatchewan Upland Bird and Waterfowl Hunting Season. The Oldman River is the major drainage in S.W. Alberta. Our clients that spend a day or two fly-fishing with our Oldman River Fly-Fishing Guides. Our clients are amazed at this scenic river that starts in the mountains, spills out of the foothills then flows over the prairies before eventually joining the Bow River. The Lower Oldman River Tailwater stretch is home to brown, rainbow, cutthroat and bull trout, and has superb hatches resulting in some outstanding dry-fly fishing for anglers fly-fishing the Oldman River. The upper reaches of the Oldman River and its tributaries are classic high country cutthroat streams – rugged and remote. Due to special regulations they offer the best west slope cutthroat trout fly fishing in Alberta.

Located in The Rolling Plains of North West Texas The Waggoner Ranch is The largest contiguous Ranch under one fence in The Lone Star State coming in at 600,000 acres. The ranch is home to an all wild population of Bobwhite Quail and some introduced Valley or California Quail. The Ranch has never been commercially hunted, until now. Starting January 4th 2026 Dave Brown Outfitters will be offering limited Hunts on this unique and pristine property for the duration of the Texas Quail Season which ends February 28 2026. Given the Texas Quail Reports for the region Clients will be hunting during a very good year when Bird Numbers are high.
