The lake trips I offer out of my boat begin on northern zone musky opener (Saturday closest to Memorial Day) and end at ice up. Offered all season Friday-Sunday We get to chase musky on a variety of different systems in my area ranging from clear and deep trophy waters to shallow and stained action waters and many more in between. The trip lengths I offer for lakes are 6 hours, 8 hours, and full day from sunrise to sunset. You as the client get to choose this and once that is decided. I will recommend which body of water I think will be best for your desired trip date and we will go from there! Once your trip date is scheduled, we can decide when you would like to start on the water. I will most likely recommend a start time depending on how that day looks to lay out. Factors affecting start time can be things like incoming weather or a moon phase. I will do everything in my power to ensure that your trip will be spent on the water during the best time of that day to hopefully put a fish in the net. I will provide you with the location where you can meet me at our chosen lake to fish for the day. Then once we hop in the boat, the hunt for toothy critters begins!

River floats begin on northern zone musky opener (Saturday closest to Memorial Day) and end at ice up. Offered all season Friday-Sunday I have been a river rat since adolescence which is why I absolutely love guiding for musky on multiple freestone river systems where I live. Floats can last anywhere from 6-10ish hours depending on what stretch we do and how hard we fish it or how fast I row. Typically I like to start the floats early morning and finish around mid afternoon but we also have the option of starting around noon and finishing in the evening hours to around dark. Once you book a river float with me, I will decide what stretch we float depending on factors such as weather conditions for that day and water levels. Depending on how much rain we get throughout the year, sometimes the rivers can become flooded and unfishable. On the flip side, when water levels are super low due to drought conditions the fishing can become stellar. So I’ll inform you what I think the best option will be for us when that time comes. We may need to do some vehicle shuttling so that my truck and raft trailer end up at the take out before we begin the float but we can discuss all that before the trip starts. Once we are on the water, prepare to experience some of the most gorgeous scenery that northern Wisconsin has to offer while at the same time chasing a true river monster!!!
