About

Perry has been Fly Fishing In Roatán Honduras for over 45 years. As a boy he would hand-line for fish and explore the rich environments Roatan has to offer. 28 years ago he started sharing his vast experience of the islands with others providing an incredible fishing experience and has become one of the best fishing guides on the island of Roatán. Roatán is home to bonefish, permit, tarpon, and much more. When you step foot on the flats with Perry, stalk a large school of tailing bones, present your fly, and hear the reel start screaming; you'll be hooked. (No pun intended.)

We fish the East side of the island near Oakridge and Calabash Bight. This side of the island experiences less pressure than the West and provides an incredible selection of large stunning flats. Staying on the West side but need transportation? No problem. Perry offers transportation to and from the fishing grounds to make your trip easy. Fly Fishing In Roatán Honduras is an incredible experience!

Capt. Perry Cooper is an amazing guide! He was personal, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. We booked a day trip for flats fishing. His driver picked us up from where we were staying, and we watched the sun rise on our way to meet him. We got to see the marine conservatory at his home (100 yr old house) and picked up cooler of wife's cooking (breakfast sandwiches, bacon wrapped stuffed chicken, potatoes). She's a chef on a tour boat, and it was all delicious! They also provided fruit and drinks. We saw a variety of marine life (and caught some!): Permit, Tarpon, Grouper, Snapper, Drum, Barracuda, Shark, Rays, Lobster, Turtles, Bonefish, etc. It also counted as a tour of the East/Southeastern side of Roatan by boat with gorgeous views and going through natural Mangroves tunnels. Highly recommend!
