VerifiedScott provided an awesome experience and great instruction for a novice saltwater fly fisherman. He went the extra mile to get fish in the boat, and was super professional and easy to work with.

VerifiedAbsolute blast! Captain Scott did his best to make sure we landed on some fish. The weather had turned and was coming off a cold snap. We searched and searched on the first day with no luck. But on day 2 Scott’s fish intuition kicked in high gear and it was on. Best Reds fishing trip I’ve ever had. If you’ve been thinking of pulling the trigger and taking a trip with Southeast Angling, pull it.

VerifiedMy son and I fished with Captain Rob and we had an amazing day. My son flew home for the holidays and my wife had bought us a 1/2 day trip for Christmas. It was cold & windy the day we were supposed to go out. I got a text and call from the Captain and we discussed heading out in the afternoon instead of the morning as originally planned. No problem, we were in no hurry and didn’t have other plans. Capt Rob said it would be a bit warmer and that the bite may be better. He was right! First cast at the first spot set the tone for the day. We caught more speckled trout than we could have imagined. Unfortunately for us, no red drum action, but we had fun catching trout all day. Once back to the dock, Capt Rob cleaned out keepers and we went home to make fresh fish tacos that night. It was a great day on the water. The boat was clean and obviously well taken care of. Captain Rob was friendly, knowledgeable, polite and all round good company. He’s a great guy and we could not have asked for a better experience. I cannot recommend Southeastern Angling enough!
